”Why organic baby?”…Pure for baby. Maybe you are excitedly anticipating the arrival of a new baby or perhaps you are concerned about heath issues such as asthma, allergies, skin irritations or something more difficult. Whatever the case, it’s probably a great time to learn more about why organic and all natural products are healthier for you, your family and the environment.
First off, babies spend almost 75% of their time asleep during the first few months and as they get older they will spend at least one third to one half of their time in bed so bedding, pajamas and stuffed toys are best when made from all natural, chemical-free materials such as organic cotton and finished only with natural dyes and processing techniques.
Of course, when baby is awake he or she most likely wants to play so toy safety is important especially when baby is putting everything in the mouth. Choose organic stuffed animals or soft organic toys made from 100% organic cotton and wooden toys finished with non toxic, chemical-free paints.
At bath time wash with organic or natural baby shampoo, skincare and body care that is made with only natural ingredients. Better yet, check to see if its pediatrician tested for irritation, sensitivity and allergens and most important is to make sure it is sulphate and paraben free and free from synthetic fragrances or artificial colors.
