Why organic for baby? …
Pure and natural baby products are safer and more beautiful. Maybe you are excitedly anticipating the arrival of a new baby or perhaps you are concerned about children’s asthma, allergies, skin irritations or other health issues. Whatever the case, it’s a great time to learn more about why choosing organic and all natural products is safer, healthier and more comfortable for your natural organic baby and the environment as a whole.
First off, babies spend the majority of their time asleep during the first few months and as they get older they will spend at least one third to one half of their time sleeping, so crib bedding, blankets, sleepers, clothing and other comfort items are best when made from pure, natural and chemical-free materials such as organic cotton colored with natural dyes.
When baby is awake then chances are it is eating time or play time so knowing what goes in baby’s mouth is critical. Using BPA free plastic or glass baby bottles is best as well as BPA free plastic kids plates and cups as well as BPA free teethers, rattles and soothers. Toy safety is most critical especially when baby is putting everything in the mouth. At bath time it’s best to wash young children with organic or natural baby wash and shampoos.
