“Why organic bedding?” ...Sleep free. Considering we spend roughly one-third of our lives in bed and our bodies are significantly more sensitive to environmental influences when we’re sleeping than while we’re awake, it’s important that your bedding be chemical-free and all natural.
Organic cotton is grown with the help of time-proven, non-toxic, chemical and pesticide-free agricultural techniques designed to sustain the land that yields the crop as well as the people who tend and harvest it. Thus, many of the common allergies that are a direct result of lingering chemicals in conventional cotton fibers are not an issue when organic cotton is next to your skin. Unfortunately not all bedding labeled as ‘organic bedding’ is created equally. Many large, mainstream retailers say that their organic bedding is all natural but unfortunately, although the cotton may have been grown organically, the fabric is more often than not finished with conventional chemical dyes and finishing processes.
